Let it work its magic
That force of life
Which gives zest to live
Each day fullest in itself
Love what we do
Love those whom we meet
Each breath taken
That sweet nectar of life
Don’t push, never shove
Nor ever, ever force
But be there, on the field
The vast expanse that is this earth
Be glad, laugh, chuckle
In hardships face
Never despair
Be brave, never afraid
What comes in life
To you let it come
Like water flow
Grief will stay
But wear it lightly
An angel’s wing
Such loss will never leave
True, but wear it a cloak lightly
Live like the cycles of the seasons
In summer like the birds
In winter warm and snug, brave the cold
Rain welcome as much as the sun
Life joyful, full
Impart to others
This succulent force of life
And let it work its magic on you.
