Towards Better Democracy

Good words, well written, better the world. Good literature betters the world immeasurably.

Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass

Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass

I am not a lover of Philip Glass’s music. I find it repetitive and lacking in both musical ideas and coherence. He creates a motif which events for a few bars and then he cheats by changing key for no apparent reason. There is no sense of progression but of a circular movement. His music is the weakest of the minimalists of the time.
