Towards Better Democracy

Good words, well written, better the world. Good literature betters the world immeasurably.

Still point

Still point

A still point in the rush of life’s ferocities
In the dragon’s lair fire
Flames
Leap
Like time’s shadow
High and dark upon the
Wall
Looms to frighten us all
With the perpetuality of rush
Rush, rush
Pell mell.

Yet tolls the bell
Calling us all
To the end of time
Sounds loud and quiet
We  seek silence
To quench our souls
To find eventually
—— peace ——

We may meet again

We may meet again

We may meet
Yet again some day
And do what I cannot say
I have little prescience
Never mind wit nor peace of
Mind
Yet, here I sit in life’s castle
In hope you
Yet again to see.

Silence Sings of Mourning

Silence sings of mourning

Silence sings its mournful song
At the loss of
Its innocence
Its virginity
Birth-blooded
But pristine clean
Now
